Karachi: Another feather in Younis Khan’s cap as the legendary Pakistan batsman became the latest entrant to the prestigious list of MCC honorary life members.
Younis Khan is the second Pakistan cricketer after Misbah ul Haq, to get the honorary MCC membership this year.
Younis Khan, retired from international cricket earlier this year, represented Pakistan in 118 Tests, 265 ODIs and 25 T20i between 2000 and 2017.
Younis Khan, with 10, 099 runs, is the only Pakistani to have reached the 10, 000-run landmark in Test cricket.
The MCC has awarded honorary life membership to hundreds of cricketers and individuals, both men and women, associated with the game of cricket.
Younis Khan is the 34th Pakistani to have received this honor.
