Karachi: Two more matches of 9th PVCA Inter-School Cricket tournament-2018 are played at various grounds of the city on Thursday (October 25)
At Asghar Ali Shah Stadium F.F. Public school trashed Foundation public school by 212 runs. After winning the toss F.F. Public School elected to bat first scored 260 runs in 36.4 overs. Ali shah scored 82 runs and Maaz Nadeem scored 68 runs. Sharim Naqvi of Foundation Public School took 7 wickets for 45 runs and Mohammad Measam took 2 wickets for 47 runs in reply Foundation Public School could only score 48 runs in 17 overs. Only Osama Khan could manage to score 18 runs. Shafqat Zameer took 3 wickets for 29 runs and Abdul sami of F.F. Public School who took 4 wickets for 13 runs was declared man of the match.
At Eastern Star Cricket Ground, Al Fatima School defeated City School Network by 86 runs. City School Network won the toss and put Al Fatima School to bat first. Batting first Al Fatima School scored 238 runs for loss of 8 wickets in alloted 40 overs. Mohammad Abbas scored 80 runs and Abdu Razzaq Scored 64 runs. Zayyan khan of City School Network took 3 wickets for 46 runs and Faraz Hussain took 2 wickets for 37 runs. In reply City School Network scored 152 runs in 28.5 overs. Rayyan Tariq scored 46 runs and Hanzala Paracha scored 41 runs. S. Ammad Ali of Al Fatima School took 3 wickets for 20 runs and Syed Hasnain and Shair Bahadur took 2 wickets each.
Abdul Razaq of Al Fatima School who scored 64 runs and took one wicket for 23 runs was declared man of the match.
