Karachi : The player auction ceremony for Memon Super League Season 2, powered by up rise ventures was held at Ramada Creek Plaza on August 4th 2017.
The ceremony was held in the presence of all 7 team owners, MSL Team management and some of the sponsors and supporters of Memon Super League.
In last two years we organized several talent hunt programs in KPK and we were amazed to see some amazing talent at grass root level of KPK.

Speaking on the occasion, Pakistan’s former opener Shoaib Mohammad said, “I am grateful to be invited to this ceremony to witness the upcoming cricket talent of Pakistan.
This tournament has all the potential to be a top notch tournament for the city.”
The tournament will commence from 14th August in which 25 matches of T-20 format will be played.
Each team was allotted 11,000 points to bid for players in Platinum, Gold, Silver, Memon and Non-Memon Category. Some of the players were also retained from the last season.
After the competitive process of bidding and player auction, each team recruited a squad of 20 players comprising of minimum 14 Memons and 6 Non-Memon players, to promote diversity and allow Memons to compete against the best players in Karachi’s amateur cricket circle.
The player who fetched the highest number of points after very competitive bidding was Adeel Abbasi and was picked up by Wintex Strikers.

Memon Super League is a platform for the promotion of cricket within the Memon Community and to groom the superstars of the future.
The dynamic concept is modeled on Pakistan Super League, where an organized auction is conducted to draft players. This results in players from different walks of life playing together as a unit.
The format of the tournament is based on T20. Each team will play against the other before the top four teams qualify for the knockout round.
The matches will be held at Rashid Latif Academy in Gulberg, Asghar Ali Shah Stadium North Nazimabad, and IBA Karachi University Cricket grounds and all matches will be played under flood lights.
