Lahore finally got on the points table with a crushing win against Multan. Shaheen Afridi was the star with a magical bowling display and ending with figures of 5 wickets for four runs.
The other encounter was also a nail biter between Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi. Islamabad racked up a decent total of 180 plus and at one stage Zalmi were 90 odd for the loss of eight wickets. They however ended up making 156 for nine down thus gaining some respectability in the chase.
