Selectors pick initial bunch for England ODIs

Karachi: For the one day series against the host, England the national selectors of Pakistan look all set to throw in a number of young players. For the purpose, the chief selector, Inzamam-ul-Haq himself toured England to monitor the performance of the “A” team playing there.

The scoreline.org has learnt that the selectors had compiled a bunch of about 30 players that includes Shoaib Malik, Umar Gul, Sharjeel Khan, Junaid Khan, Sohaib Maqsood, Imam-ul-Haq, Anwar Ali, Ehsan Adil, Muhammad Irfan, Babar Azam, Imad Wasim and Hassan Ali etc along with a number of promising “A” team players.

The camp of the players is likely to begin from August 1st in Lahore.

The final ODI squad will be announced before the fourth Test between Pakistan and England.

The first Pak-Eng ODI will be played on August 24th.
