KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced everything but the schedule of the remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season six and that’s is too for a reason.
The spokesman, of the PCB, has confirmed to this correspondent that its a matter of about 350 visa applications that are pending at the United Arab Emirates (UAE) embassies.
“We are ready at our end, as soon as visas are granted, logistical arrangements will be made”, the spokesman said.
On a question, the spokesman said that broadcast crew and players from South Africa and India are in the visas’ waiting list.
On a separate issue domestic coaches involved in PSL6 teams, the PCB spokesperson clarified that it’s a one time arrangement.
“Some foreign coaches are busy on national duty or have some other problem therefore PSL6 teams have been allowed domestic coaches, but this is a one-time liberty only”, the spokesman concluded.
Multan Sultans have had the services of Southern Punjab’s coach Abdur Rehman, while Muhammad Masroor, of Northern, has been rope in by Karachi Kings.
