Lahore: The all important Pakistan Super League game for Quetta Gladiators, against Multans, was abandoned due to persistent rain here on Wednesday.
Both teams shared one point each. Multan Sultans consolidated its top position with
12 points from eight matches. The reining champions, Quetta Gladiators, at the bottom of the table, now have seven points from nine games.
Islamabad United (fourth) and Karachi Kings (fifth) have seven points each as well but have a better run-rate than Gladiators.
Peshawar Zalmi, with nine points in as many games, are second while Lahore Qalandars are sitting at the third spot with eight points in eight games.
Gladiators’ final group match is on March 15th gainst Karachi Kings at the National Stadium.
Multan Sultans will play their last two matches against Peshawar Zalmi, at Karachi’s National Stadium on March 13th, and Lahore Qalandars, at the Gaddafi Stadium, on March 15th.
