The former Indian Captain, Muhammad Azharuddin has begun a new innings after taking charge as the president of Hyderabad Cricket Association.
Talking to this correspondent, Azharuddin’s manager Anas Baqai said establishing academies and appointment of competent coaches, in all districts, are amongst their top priorities.
“We have 33 districts with a lot of raw and untapped talent. The local government is also willing to help us to develop cricket in rural areas”, Anas Baqai said.
In the elections, held on Friday, Azharuddin won the President Post of Hyderabad Cricket Association along with John Manoj, the Vice President.
“There is no dearth of talent, but the systems are not in place. We have to appointment right people in right places”, Anas Baqai.
