Karachi: Worrying signs for the defending champions, Peshawar Zalmi, as their ace fast bowler, Hasan Ali is not fully fit and might miss the entire season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), starting from February 22.
“Hasan Ali has traveled, to Dubai, with the Peshawar Zalmi squad but will not take part in initial games”, a source said.
“Zalmi’s doctor will monitor his condition to decide future course. We will of course not take any risk in this regard”, the source added.
Hasan Ali twisted his left ankle during the recent T20 series in New Zealand and missed the final T20, which Pakistan won and clinch the series.
As Hasan Ali’s backup, Peshawar Zalmi has already picked up pace bowler Umaid Asif.
