Karachi: West Indies leg-spinner Samuel Badree has graduated with an Executive Master’s in Sport Management from the University of Trinidad and Tobago.

Badree, who is currently employed by the Ministry of Education as a Curriculum Officer, Physical Education and Sport, was very pleased to have completed the programme.

“I have always seen both sport and education as vehicles that can be used for upward social mobility and I have been able to use both to accomplish some of my life’s dreams.

I have always advocated the complementary relationship between sport and education and today I am proud that I have been able to strike a balance between the two”, Samuel Badree said on the accomplishment.

Badree runs a cricket academy for children between the age of five and 15 in South Trinidad and also has a Level-3 coaching certificate from Cricket Australia.
